DOCUMENT SHREDDING PROCESS
At VGS, we offer a complete shredding solution for your convenience. Our services include easy scheduling to accommodate your schedule, secure handling of all labor to stage the records, secure destruction of all records, and producing a digital Certificate of Destruction for your records. We are also committed to recycling 100% of the shredded material.
When you choose our Witness Shredding service, you will meet one of our uniformed team members who will display their picture ID and ask you to show them the documents you would like destroyed. Your documents will then be placed into one of our secure bins, which can hold over 200 pounds of paper. The container will be locked to ensure the security of your information.
The secure container is then transported to the truck where our automated shredding system takes over. The bin is lifted and your papers are emptied directly into the shredder, ensuring complete destruction. All of your files will be destroyed and mixed with hundreds or even thousands of pounds of other shredded documents. Our on-site shredding trucks can hold upwards of 3 1/2 tons of shredded documents per day!
